Eight Men and Four Women on the Jury of Love
People write in and ask how a voodoo court is different from a regular court. Probably the main difference is that in a voodoo courtroom, both sides bring their own bands...this is O.V. Wright, giving his classic closing argument to the Jury of Love ...don't you miss this one. "Even though I'm guilty of loving you, I intend to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, that we are innocent and True Love is not a crime. Yeah, that's the jury of love."

Hunting Season in the Swamp

Yes, its fall in the swamp and that means hunting season in these parts...this local gal is getting all ready for shooting season; ain't she cute, we're mighty proud of her. Go here to find out about Mr. Elvgren, who painted this nice lady...
And down here we have the locals doing it the old fashioned way, as engraved by Jacques Le Moyne, learn more about him here, these were ancient Florida natives he encountered when he came to Florida in 1564.

Curtis Mayfield and the Impressions/Meeting Over Yonder

These folks made a good impression here in the swamp, this is from the mid 1960's, they let the black folks sing for the white folks, but not dance with the white girls, ...the gogo girls are sure cutting loose, though...check out Curtis Mayfield on the left, looking like he wonders how many more times he will have to do this before he strikes out in a new direction...
